Acid Fruits = (may be eaten with protein fats) lemons, limes, cranberries and later grapefruits. Lemons and limes aid in digestion of fats, protein and protein fats, but do not combine well with starches.
After inner ecosystem is restored and leaky gut is healed: you can handle a small amount of natural sugars from other fruits. Slowly introduce fruits and soaked and sprouted beans back into diet. Acid fruit family is the safest to begin with. Fruits digest quickly and should be eaten on an empty stomach. Wait 30 minutes before eating other foods. Introducing fruits too early is a common mistake on the BED.
Protein Starches - Soaked and sprouted or fermented
beans, peas, and soybeans = 20%. Salad and non-starchy veggies = 80%.
