The Body Ecology Outline
Food Combining
Animal Protein = 20% of food. Free from antibiotics/hormones Chicken, eggs, beef, fish Protein Fats = 20% of food - Kefir, seeds, soaked and sprouted almonds [acid fruits allowed in stage 2 - combine with protein fats] Seeds = flax, sunflower, pumpkin, caraway Non-Starchy Veggies = 80% of food - Goes with everything.
Ocean Veggies = 80% agar, arame, dulse, hijiki, kelp,
kombu, nori, sea palm, Starchy Veggies = 20% Artichoke, acorn squash, red skin potato, com on the cob, sweet com, water chestnuts, winter squash, lima beans and English peas Grains = 20% Amaranth, Buckwheat, millet, quinoa Fats = coconut oil, butter, ghee, BE mayonnaise, organic and unrefined oils: flax, pumpkin, sunflower, safflower, evening primrose, olive, black seed, borage. Use a variety of oils, as each has a special gift to give the body. Acid Fruits = (may be eaten with protein fats) lemons, limes, cranberries and later grapefruits. Lemons and limes aid in digestion of fats, protein and protein fats, but do not combine well with starches. After inner ecosystem is restored and leaky gut is healed: you can handle a small amount of natural sugars from other fruits. Slowly introduce fruits and soaked and sprouted beans back into diet. Acid fruit family is the safest to begin with. Fruits digest quickly and should be eaten on an empty stomach. Wait 30 minutes before eating other foods. Introducing fruits too early is a common mistake on the BED. Protein Starches - Soaked and sprouted or fermented
beans, peas, and soybeans = 20%. Salad and non-starchy veggies = 80%. Related information: |
